The only American cars I've ever driven were company cars. All were an enormous disaster. Yet the other day I drove a Cadillac Escalade and absolutely fell in love with it. And I'm not a SUV kind of guy at all. But the power, the comfort, the ride, the seats, the little extra amenities, not to mention that awesome XM/Sirius 12 speaker stereo was just awesome.

But in the end, I can't leave the Krauts and the Swedes. I've owned 3 Volvos and I'm on Beemer #5. The fit and finish are flawless, they are dependable and the ride is more my style. Every time I look at an American car I just can't fathom the purchase.
