Will all this fame go to my head?  I'm told that I have a cameo in the new Bears movie (which I'll likely never see unless it is ultimately issued on DVD).  [livejournal.com profile] pseudocub alerted me to the fact that he and I are currently one of the featured pictures on the Hairrison website.

Being the perverse bastard that I am, I'm not flattered by the exposure.  Go figure.

While this smacks of the only "Send a dollar to seven friends and you'll get back billions" scheme, [livejournal.com profile] capy tagged me on this meme-go-round and despite my loathing for such things, I'm responding.  I apologize now to those I tag.  If you're smart, you'll let this meme die a merciful death.

Instructions: Each player starts with 7 random habits/facts about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged & list their names.

1.  I detest having my picture taken.  Been that way since I was a kid.  Point a camera at me and you may walk away with a bloody stump.

2.  I've been a car addict as far back as I can recall.  For years, I could look at a car and be able to tell you its year, model, and other such useless trivia.  Can't always do that these days, all cars look like jelly beans.  I envy those folks who can afford a fleet of vehicles.

3.  I was a very picky eater as a kid (well, other than chocolate, but we all have our standards to uphold).  Hamburgers (forget the cheese), corn (off the cob, please), peas, chicken noodle soup, I was in hog heaven.  Fortunately that's changed as I've gotten older.  Now I like corn on the cob...

4.  I was taken to see my first musical when I was about 7 years old.  A local production of Finian's Rainbow.  I was enthralled.  In the following years, I was taken to see Oklahoma and then Broadway productions of My Fair Lady (first run with Rex Harrison and a very young Julie Andrews) and West Side Story.  Hmm, how did Mom know...

5.  I'm almost blind in one eye.  Poor depth perception as a result.  It limits some of the things I can do (sports, most noticeably) but it's never really bothered me.

6.  I split with my parents when I was 23.  Rarely if ever spoke with them after that.  Both are now long gone.  I wonder from time to time if it was a smart move but to this day, I believe it was the right thing to do.

7.  My greatest joy in life is in making people laugh.  Who needs drugs when you have laughter?

And the unlucky tagee's are...
