Cruise Control

I'm considering taking my first ocean cruise (if the Gulf of Mexico can be considered 'ocean').  Specifically, Bear Voyage 2007 out of Fort Lauderdale.  The cruise is a trifle longer than I'd like for a first time at 10 nights but the ship is nearly new and the cruise comes highly recommended by a few friends who've done it in the past.

At this point, I'm looking for comments, pro or con on cruises such as this one.  Anyone?
