Cat at kitty kennel/feeling abandonment guilt ... check

Belongings packed (what did I forget this time??) ... check

Contact information for friends in Toronto, Montreal, Binghamton, and New York City collected ... check

Show tickets (Drowsy Chaperone, Spamalot, and Curtains) in hand ... check

Ready for this first vacation on the East Coast in 20+ years? ... not quite sure
