Chantico

Last night at a birthday dinner for a buddy, the subject of a new beverage offered at Starbucks was mentioned, the Chantico.  Described as "drinking hot chocolate pudding" got my attention as chocolate is, contrary to the belief of dietary professionals everywhere, at the very pinnacle of the food pyramid.  So today, when David and I were running errands, we stopped and I ordered said beverage.

Served in a small container, it did indeed taste just like hot chocolate pudding.  For any out there courting insulin shock, do NOT drink this drink.  Clearly capable of ruining your diet and that of three or more close friends, it's that potent.  I may never have another, but it was, um, memorable.

It sounds great. Since chocolate is good for you; I say what the heck. thanks for letting us know about Chantico. I'll have to make an excursion over to Starbucks and try it out. By the way, it was great meeting you at Fiesta.
