Three

I live about a mile from one of the entrances to the I-8 Freeway, a relatively modern road that's well marked and fairly well maintained.  Today, while negotiating my way onto the I-8 and then about an hour later on my way home at the same exit, I saw three, yes count em, three unrelated one car accidents in which all three cars looked totaled.

Snow?  Nope

Earthquake?  Nope

Pestilence?  Nope

A plague of locusts, perhaps?  Nope but you're getting closer...

About a 1/2 of rain.  Stupid, stupid, frikkin stoopid drivers!  Wet road, curve ahead, do the math people!

It just scares the heck out of me.
