San Diego Gay Rodeo

Wow, the GSGRA rodeo was in town this weekend.  Images of hunky folks in cowboy drag doing entertaining things with farm animals comes to mind.  All that you'd need for a fun weekend wouldn't you think?  Think again.

Badly organized, abysmally run, minimal attendance.  The most active venue for the day was the two-stepping/line dancing hall.

Having Coors and Jagermeister as sponsors meant that there'd be no shortage of liquor.  But there was. 

All in all, one of the saddest events I've ever attended.

wow...sorry to hear THAT! That particular rodeo was one of the premier ones in the country for socializing and fun.

Sounds very like the Finest City Squares flyin after time ravaged it... :(
