rickpsOff to Palm Springs later today for a long weekend. Should be 110 in the shade...
I'm trying out the new Safari Beta. Initial impressions - runs quickly, some minor interesting features, beats IE all to heck and looks like competition to Firefox.
The Denver convention seems like it was years ago.
Working situation with my administrative assistant has (temporarily, I'm sure) improved. I'm impressed with her mood swings.
The ever creative folks from across the border have been prying an access gate open so much that the hydraulic motor blew up. One or more others have been stealing whatever they can drag away. And yesterday, when caught in the act and yelled at, they threw rocks at my staff. Nobody injured thankfully.
There's now a good chance that I'll be interviewing for a job back in the Bay Area. Not sure how I feel about it.
Next week is Pat Carnathan's last official class night with Finest City Squares. An end of an era for the club, both good and bad, I think.
One of the tasks for this coming weekend is to set the details for my trip in July to New York (and perhaps Toronto). First visit back to the home turf in over 20 years, yikes.
I've postponed taking a cruise (BearVoyage) for the nth time. Maybe next year...
And I'm busy as heck, yet bored. Strange.
